Matris steering dampers are available in two different specs:

• TYPE 3 (M3) - Titanium body, light alloy external reservoir for compensation of fluid expansion, coaxial adjuster (13 settings) on damper body, One Piece piston rod. SPEED SENSITIVE DAMPING. M3 DAMPERS HAVE A BLACK, RED or BLUE ANODISED RESERVOIR DAMPER BODY CLAMP. (please note as of June 07 Blue dampers have been discontinued - so we have limited stocks)
• TYPE 4R (M4R) - Titanium body, light alloy external reservoir for compensation of fluid expansion (on this model the reservoir is gas pressurised!!), coaxial adjuster (18 settings) on damper body, Ti-nitrided one piece piston rod. SPEED SENSITIVE DAMPING. M4R DAMPERS HAVE BLACK ANODISED ALLOY PARTS WITH A RED ANODISED ADJUSTING WHEEL.

NOTE: On some of the 916 style kits you are required to drill 2 small holes in the top yoke.
