TCX road and race boots incorporate varying combinations of innovative systems and materials. The Torsion Control System is a structure within the boot that allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle but preventing movement beyond the natural limits therefore protecting the joints from possible injury.

The Metatarsal Control System is based on a rigid shell with a rotation mechanism that incorporates programmed stops at the top and bottom, designed to prevent excessive flexion of the metatarsal either up or down whilst giving excellent sensitivity when riding. All road/race boots have an antibacterial foot bed with the Competizione RS incorporating a vented sole encouraging airflow and increasing ventilation to the foot.
